Article 3 (14 & 15)

14. There are three kinds of human being as told by Pascal. One is the believers and who have found God. Second are human beings who do not believe but continue to seek God. He also said that these two will eventually find God. And lastly, human beings who do not seek God at all. They would not be able to see God in this lifetime.

According to Pascal, human beings gain everything if we choose the side of God and lose nothing at all. On the atheist side he said that if they do not believe in God they will lose everything and gain nothing from it. Atheism should not be followed by many because it ruins the trust and faith who believe in God.

In life we must decide in things that are happening. In our case, we should be at the side of God because this is the right choice. When decision making must be done, choose the right side and regret the other side. We should and must decide because there is no choice.

15. In Pascal's argument (Wager), he clearly stated that human beings should and must believe in God even though we doubt about His existence. Because we lose nothing. As we choose God's side, we gain everything. There's nothing to lose in either choice we make.

Pascal's last passage states that "whether we believe God exists or not". We must wager because we don't have a choice. Human beings fear about the outcome when they wager in their decision making. Pascal's argument (wager) is a form of message to all human beings. Whatever we do, we must wager one way or the other because we don't have a choice.

Even though it is not clear that God really exist for other people, we should and must believe. Pascal’s religious faith is evident that he really believe that there is a God. At some point in his life, God made him realize and was rewarded with something. Finally, Pascal's argument (wager) was made in order for us human beings to believe in God and open our minds. Believing is not a big cause, in fact it can lead to great benefits in life.

Article 2 (5 & 6)

5. The word uncaused cause implies to God. Cause and effect are common human notions. Cause is an action while effect is the result of that action. God which is the cause and we (creations) are His effects. Natural events are subject to natural law, and therefore they all have causes.

God does not have a cause. Therefore, God is not a natural event. God must instead be an agent with free will. Every natural effect has a cause, this chain cannot be infinite. So there must exist some uncaused cause to start the chain also known as the first cause (God). Explanation of the first cause is very important on the existence of human beings.

Existence is handed down the chain of causes from cause to effect. If there is no first cause, no being who is eternal and self-sufficient. No being who has existence by his own nature and does not have to borrow it from someone else. The gift of existence can never be passed down the chain to others, and no one will ever get it. We got the gift of existence from our causes, down the chain, and so did every actual being in the universe, from atoms to archangels.

6. God gave every human being a very limited amount of time to live. If it's your time then it will your very end. Nothing here on earth will last forever except the creator Himself. From dust we return to dust.

It is not possible for one human being to overlap his/her life span. It will be a mystery for all of living human beings. Every thing are born and die rapidly. All sources of life die in a limited time. Either humans or animals, raised by their parents and soon to die afterwards.

The point is that all sources of life in earth die rapidly. We cannot overlap the life span that God has given. So live your life to the fullest.

Article 2 (1 & 2)

1. For me, I think that the reason of Isaac Newton does not contradict the argument of Aquinas. In physics, things that are at rest remains at rest. For it to be in motion it must be move by other object. Aquinas point of view is that God is the first mover and we are moved because of Him. For nothing can be the first mover except Him.

God is our prime mover. Human beings and the earth will not be created without Him. All living creatures will not exist in this world. The stars, moons, sky, clouds, sun etc. will not be present. All that appears in this world will not exist without our prime mover.

Motion has a broad explanation when it comes to physics. For physics explains all that is happening in this world most especially with motion. Think of the possibilities when God was not in motion. Do we think that we will exist? No, none of these things here on earth will exist when God was not in motion.

2. I don't have any ideas when you ask me who made God? My answer to that question would probably be a big question mark. My mind is set for only limited knowledge. Even if i will think about a good and pleasing answer still the same result will probably occur.

For me, it is not a valid question. Humans have very efficient knowledge about God. Philosophers argue about the existence of God, who made God, what caused God and is not completely done arguing with themselves.

God is the creator of time and he is outside time he has always existed and doesn’t need a cause. Validity of the question does not need for the premises to be true. But how it was answered.

Article 2 (#1)

First Way:
Our senses prove that some things are in motion. Things move when potential motion becomes actual motion, only an actual motion can convert a potential motion into an actual motion. Nothing can be at once in both actuality and potentiality in the same respect. Nothing can move itself and therefore each thing in motion is moved by something else. It is necessary to arrive at a first mover, put in motion by no other and this everyone understands to be God.
Second Way:
We perceive a series of efficient causes of things in the world. Nothing exists prior to itself therefore nothing is the efficient cause of itself. If a previous efficient cause does not exist neither does the thing that results therefore if the first thing in a series does not exist, nothing in the series exists. The series of efficient causes cannot extend ad infinitum into the past, for then there would be no things existing now. It is necessary to admit a first efficient cause to which everyone gives the name of God.
Third Way:
We find in nature things that are possible to be and not to be, that come into being and go out of being i.e., contingent beings. Assuming that every being is a contingent being, for each contingent being, there is a time it does not exist. It is impossible for these always to exist. Some being exists of its own necessity and does not receive its existence from another being but rather causes them.
Fourth Way:
There is a gradation to be found in things. Some are better or worse than others. Predications of degree require reference to the uttermost case. The maximum in any genus is the cause of all in that genus. Hence there must also be something which is to all beings the cause of their being, goodness, and every other perfection and this we call God.
Fifth Way:
We see that natural bodies work toward some goal and do not do so by chance. Most natural things lack knowledge but as an arrow reaches its target because it is directed by an archer, what lacks intelligence achieves goals by being directed by something intelligence. Some intelligent being exists by whom all natural things are directed to their end and this being we call God.

Article 1 (#2)

1.) CO BD 41 B87 1988
There are reasons why a scientist believes in God. One reason is that the resourcefulness of life to accomplish its purpose is a manifestation of all-pervading intelligence. Another reason is that the fact that man can conceive the idea of God is in itself a unique proof.
2.) CO BT 102 G53 1964 c.3
The desire to eliminate God from existence is seen not only in scientific milieux but in modern political philosophy as well. Since technical progress and the augmenting of man's powers are obviously good things in themselves, it would be the sheerest folly to associate the absence of God with the concept of human progress. Man can become a human being in the full sense only by freely constructing the design of His existence.
3.) CO BT 102 H36 1965
The connection between the idea of God and the inconceivability of non-existence can be brought out in many ways. This book is about Anselm's argument with the word "existence". He stated that the word existence does not always apply to God as the superior and almighty one.
4.) CO BT 102 M299 1991
This book talks about the icon of God. It is stated here that even presented by the icon, the invisible (GOD) always remain invisible. It is also stated that God is our idol.
5.) CO BT 102 P32 1973
This book talks about people all over the world who knows about God. It is stated that people with little knowledge of God is worth more that a great deal of knowledge about Him. Every person has their own choice in life whether they believe in God or not.
6.) CO BT 175 W52 1995
This book states that if people believe in God, He will be the one incharge of those people who believe in Him. He will take more care to them than those to people who does not believe. He will give everlasting life to those believers.
7.) CO BT 102 M53 1991
No question could have more vital importance to everyday life than the question of the existence of God. For the atheistic, existence of God is a dont-care condition for them. They don't care whether God exists or not because for them they don't believe in God.
8.) CO BT 102 K86 1980
God's existence is questioned today. These remains the struggle of a different kind with the insecurity of human existence which has existed from time immemorial. Most people does question the existence of God.
9.) CO BT 38 L42 1982
The possibility of proving the existence of God has fascinated thinkers and believers throughout the centuries. This book critically analyzes both sides of the contemporary debate between the two most important living philosophers of religion and constructs an alternative solution. A positive discussion of relativism leads to a fresh analysis of the arguments for God's existence, particularly the ontological argument.
10.) CO BT 48 D59 1992
Is there a God? Every branch of science, no matter how atheistic, ultimately faces one unanswerable question. Both sides absolutely require a FAITH, a faith of something unseen, unproved, and probably unprovable in a first cause. For science it’s a big blank spot before the big bang, populated by wild science fiction ideas.

Article 1 (8 & 10)

8. God's existence is very important in human life. If the existence of God isn't important, we certainly would not waste our time debating the issue. It should be expected that theists and Christians in particular will quickly say that the question of their god's existence is indeed vitally important. It would not be unusual to find them saying that this question eclipses all other questions which humanity might ask. But the skeptic or nonbeliever should not simply grant them this assumption.

Theists who try to argue that their god is indeed important will naturally support their position by reference to all its supposed characteristics like perhaps that it offers eternal salvation for humanity. This seems like a reasonable direction to go, but is nevertheless flawed. Of course they think that God is important and of course this is closely related to what they think God is and what it does. However, if we accept this line of reasoning, then we are accepting a particular set of characteristics which have not yet been established to be true. It must be remembered that we didn't ask if their god with its supposed characteristics is important.

Instead we asked if the existence of any god, generally speaking, was important. These are very different questions and theists who have never thought about the existence of God outside of the sort of god they've been taught to believe in may fail to see the distinction. A skeptic might choose later to grant that if a particular god with certain characteristics exists, then that existence could be important. At that point we could move on to see if there are any good reasons to think that this alleged god exists. One reason which some theists, especially Christians will offer for thinking that the existence of their god is important is that belief in a god is good for, or even necessary for, social order and moral behavior.

10. The knowledge of God is different from the love of God because it is unconditional. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. God's love transcends the human definition of love to a point that is hard for us to comprehend. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions.

He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good. He loves us because He is love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him. He sacrificed His own Son (who also willingly died for us) to restore that relationship. God is omniscient, He knows everything: everything possible, everything actual.

God’s knowledge of the future is as complete as is His knowledge of the past and the present, and that, because the future depends entirely upon Himself. He is perfectly acquainted with every detail in the life of every being in heaven, in earth and in hell. No, trying to find God through the arguments of proofs is not an essential part in seeking God. It is through our faith that we seek God. We know that there is a God.

Article 1 (5 & 6)

5. Yes, God's existence is all a matter of faith. With great faith we are not afraid of the problems that we encounter because God is beside us willing to help solve those problems. With faith we believe that God exist. With faith, we never doubt about His existence. With faith we know that He is there waiting.

I think many or most of the people around the world does not believe in the existence of God. God did not force each one of them to believe in Him especially His existence in this world. Rational reasons should be said and done for them to believe. This kind of people are the so called "non-believers". People who has less faith in God.

Blind faith meaning those people who has less faith in God. The doubters and non-believers in this world that doubts the existence of God. The atheists and other non-believer groups. As what was stated earlier that rational reasons should be said and done. It's there own lives and we must respect it.

6. No, I am not responsible. It is through faith that I believe in God. The faith which never ever doubt nor asked myself about the existence of God. The faith which will deliver me to heaven rather than to hell. My faith in God is infinite.

People who has the luxury of higher education are the one who doubts nor question themselves about His existence. The kind of intelligence which can break one's mind. The kind of people who are not satisfied with their intelligence. Trying to solve the mysterious questions most especially about God's existence. Questions that cannot be solved for many many years.

Some would make an argument about God's existence. Some would invent something for the benefit of those people who do believe in God. Other people will somehow will be influenced by their great inventions. These are the one's who are in a far distance with God. These are the people who always wonder about God's existence.
